HitRock was founded in 1978 in Budapest. In 1980 our first SP was released which soon came to be a Gold Record (100 000 sold copies) and it leaded the Hit List for months. Hitrock became one of the most successful bands of Hungary. The next SP was released in 1982 and became a Gold Record as well. It was followed by an LP in 1984 that also came to be a Gold Record. In 1985 they performed in Western European clubs with their own songs and the songs of other foreign bands. eg. Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, Scorpions etc. Due to their success, the one-month contract was extended to six months. From 1987 to 1996, the band ceased its work to finally release a new album in 1998. In 2002 some members and the style were changed. The new band voted for the PINK FLOYD TRIBUTE. Following four years of hard work and lots of concerts, it is today one of the most successful and spectacular bands of Hungary. They perform at every Hungarian festival, but also produce the same musical and spectacular effects in small clubs. The number of their fans keeps growing and there is a PINK FLOYD fan club on the net. Their concerts are in the focus of interest of not only the audience and clubs but also of concert organizers.
